Cancellation Policy

If you cancel your reservation with us up to 7 days before the due arrival date then no further charge will be applied to your account. Your deposit is only refundable or transferable at the discretion of the hotel.

If you cancel less than 7 days prior to arrival, a charge of 50% of the total cost of the booking will be applied to your account, if the accommodation cannot be re sold.

If you cancel less than 48 hours before your arrival date a charge of 75% of the total cost of the booking will be charged to your account if the accommodation cannot be resold.

In the case of a “No Show” then the total cost of the booking will be charged to include any pre booked supplements i.e Evening Meal.

Cancellation of pre booked supplements without sufficient notice to the hotel will incur a charge of up to 100%.

Terms of Booking

Please note that the balance of your account is due on arrival at the hotel. Please be aware of this to avoid embarrassment on check in.

Check in at the hotel is from 14.00 until 22.00. If you wish to check in earlier then please contact the hotel direct.

Check out on the day of departure is 10.30am. Please note late checkout is sometimes available but does incur a charge. Please contact reception if you wish to make further arrangements.

Please note that smoking is not permitted in any part of the building. Smoking in bedrooms will activate the fire alarm system and you will be required to evacuate the hotel. It is illegal to smoke in the hotel and anyone found doing so will be prosecuted and face a fine of up to £1000.  A £100 cleaning charge will be applied to remove any odour of tobacco from rooms.

Please also note that all damage to furniture & fittings must be paid for.

Unfortunately, a charge will be made for lost or unreturned room keys.

Pets are not accepted at the Homecliffe with the exception of guide dogs.

We operate a zero tolerance policy on behaviour.  Any guest found to be acting inappropriately or illegally will have their accommodation revoked.

Please be aware that we do not accept Hen, Stag or Single Sex Groups without prior arrangement with the management. If this is found at the hotel you will be in breach of the company’s terms and conditions and will have your accommodation revoked.
